Marriage of the Lamb
Good afternoon saints! It gives me immense pleasure to write my first blog. I have chosen the title after the inspiration from my friend and comforter the Holy Ghost.
I am planning to post the article as moved in the Spirit. Which will be of great value for the day.
And as I was reading the book of revelation. The word that struck me was this.
Revelation 19:9 And he saith unto me, Write, Blessed are they which are called unto the marriage supper of the Lamb. And he saith unto me, These are the true sayings of God.
It is said blessed are they who are called to the marriage the topic for today are you called to the marriage? Are you ready for the marriage?
There at few points we need to understand while reading the verse.
Called for the marriage
Lord calls the people who are called for the marriage "BLESSED" who are these people and why are they blessed.
The answer is in the previous verse.
Revelation 19:7 Let us be glad and rejoice, and give honour to him: for the marriage of the Lamb is come, and his wife hath made herself ready.
Revelation 19:8 And to her was granted that she should be arrayed in fine linen, clean and white: for the fine linen is the righteousness of saints.
Saints these people are blessed because of.
1. They made themselves ready
Saints when we are in this world, Lord says be not conformed like this world but be cunning like serpents and blameless like doves. We have to make ourselves ready and keep us from polluting from the vices of the world. Lord is going to come quickly.
2. They were arrayed in fine linen given by the Lord
Lord covers our nakedness when Isaiah saw the Lord he shouted woe to me as I am in the midst of the unclean lips.
Saints we need Lord to cover our nakedness no matter how much we try we cannot cover our nakedness if we dont confess our sins and faults to Jesus and seek forgiveness.
3. They were arrayed with righteousness
Finally they were arrayed with righteousness. Lord is our righteousness and exceedingly great reward. He is our shield and very present help.
Friends we need to be prepared for the marriage and ask Lord for help in leading a holy life. Lord says Be Holy as I am Holy.
Today as the Spirit of the Lord is moving you. Commit yourselves to the Lord, confess all the faults and lead a life pleasing to him
